Chicago has never been afraid to think big.

From reversing the river to building the Riverwalk, some of the city’s greatest achievements began as bold ideas. World Business Chicago’s Horizon Lines: Visions for Chicago 2050 continues that tradition by challenging people to imagine what Chicago could become over the next 25 years.

Nearly 200 teams submitted ideas spanning housing, transportation, sustainability, public space and more. In June, six finalist concepts advanced.

Now, World Business Chicago will unveil the winning Horizon Lines vision. WBC CEO Phil Clement will also discuss the response from Chicago’s design and civic communities and how ambitious ideas can help shape the city’s next chapter.
